Design Features
Belt drive with reduced RPM
The pump block’s pulley is larger than the motor pulley, so the actual crankshaft speed is lower than the motor’s own RPM. This lowers the temperature of the piston assembly and the compressed air output, extends bearing life, and reduces noise compared to direct-drive (coaxial) compressors.
Cast-iron LB24 block (Lacme, France)
The LB24 block’s cylinders are cast iron — they hold their geometry under heat and provide a long service life for the piston assembly. Moving parts are lubricated by splash lubrication, using oil flung from the crankcase, with no separate oil pump.
Three-phase 380V supply
Unlike the LB24A version, designed for a household single-phase 220V supply, the LB24 model connects to a three-phase 380V line — standard industrial power. This gives more stable motor startup and operation at sites with a three-phase connection.
50 L tank with dedicated condensate drain
Most of the moisture released during air compression settles in the tank rather than passing into the air line — this reduces moisture content at the outlet and protects pneumatic tools and piping from corrosion. Drainage is via a valve at the lowest point of the tank.
Maintenance Schedule
| Interval | Task |
|---|---|
| Daily | Check oil level via the sight glass |
| Daily | Drain condensate from the tank via the drain valve |
| After 50 hours | First break-in service: oil change + tighten cylinder head bolts |
| Every 500 hours | Scheduled oil change, check belt tension |
| Every 500 hours | Check/clean the air filter |
| Once a year | Full air filter replacement, valve inspection |
Operating Conditions
- The compressor must be installed on a flat, level surface only — this is required for proper splash lubrication of all components.
- The shaft must rotate in the direction indicated by the arrow on the pump block’s pulley.
- Air temperature at startup — no lower than +5°C.
- A three-phase 380V supply is required — if this isn’t available on site, consider the LB24A version (220V, single-phase).
Applications
Auto repair and tire service
360 l/min at 10 bar covers simultaneous use of an impact wrench and a blow gun, and the 50 L tank is sufficient for a typical tire-service cycle.
Paint booth
With a dryer and a quality oil filter connected, the compressor is suitable for powering a spray gun in medium-volume paint work.
Small-scale production
Powering pneumatic tools, staplers, and impact wrenches under intermittent load, at sites with a three-phase supply.

FAQ
What’s the difference between LB24 and LB24A? LB24 is the three-phase 380V version for industrial power. LB24A is the single-phase 220V version, additionally able to start under reduced voltage (180–200V), which is useful in regions with unstable power supply. The mechanical part of the block is identical.
Does this model require a three-phase connection? Yes, the СБ4/С-50.LB24 (without “A”) is designed to connect to a 380V supply. If only 220V is available on site, you’ll need the LB24A version.
Can the compressor be used for painting? Yes, provided a dryer and a quality filter are connected — otherwise moisture and oil residue in the air will compromise the paint finish.
How often does the oil need to be changed? The first change is mandatory after 50 hours of operation (break-in, removing wear particles), then every 500 hours under normal use.
Note: this line also includes an LB24A version (with an “A”) — it has a single-phase 220V motor capable of starting under reduced voltage (180–200V) and a different output rating. The LB24 (no “A”) model is three-phase, 380V, for industrial power supply.
