A Problem You’ve Already Faced
- The compressor «can’t keep up» with production — the receiver is constantly empty, pressure drops every time a powerful tool starts: spray gun, impact wrench, grinder, all at once.
- The compressor overheats and trips on protection — an undersized unit runs at its limit; a 50% duty cycle is not enough for continuous operation of a paint shop or vehicle service bay.
- Bought «for growth» — a 380V compressor, but no power supply available — the СБ4/C-500 LT100 requires a three-phase 380V supply: confirm you have the connection before purchasing.
- Confused by 1400 vs 1100 l/min — 1400 l/min is the inlet capacity (air drawn in); the real outlet capacity is 1100 l/min. This is the figure that determines what can run simultaneously.
What the LT100 Block Is and Why It Matters
The LT100 is the flagship twin-cylinder piston compressor block of the AirCast series, manufactured by Remeza (Belarus). It is the block — not the motor power — that determines the durability and reliability of the entire unit.
- Cast iron cylinders — heat dissipation 3–4 times better than aluminium equivalents. The block runs longer without overheating and wears more slowly.
- Low RPM (belt drive) — the belt reduces the block’s crankshaft speed relative to the motor shaft. Lower RPM = less wear on piston rings, bearings and valves.
- Flywheel-fan — the flywheel’s special vanes create forced airflow for cylinder cooling. This is not a decorative feature: the flywheel is responsible for cooling during extended operation.
- Repairability — piston rings, gaskets, valve plates and check valves for the LT100 are available from Acvatron SRL in Chișinău. This is not a disposable unit.

💡 About real outlet capacity: the outlet capacity (1100 l/min) is what actually enters the pneumatic system. This is the figure that matters when matching the compressor to specific equipment. The inlet capacity (1400 l/min) is the volume of atmospheric air drawn in; it is always higher due to compression losses.
AirCast LT100 Series: Configuration Options
| Model | Block | Power | Outlet capacity | Receiver | Supply |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| СБ4/C-500 LT100 (this model) | LT100 | 7.5 kW | 1100 l/min | 500 l | 380V |
| СБ4/C-500 LT100-11 | LT100 | 11 kW | 1300 l/min | 500 l | 380V |
⚠️ When do you need the LT100-11 instead of the LT100? If several powerful consumers run simultaneously (e.g. two HVLP spray guns plus sandblasting) and the combined demand exceeds 1100 l/min — consider the 11 kW version. The Acvatron SRL engineer will help you select the right model based on your actual consumption.
What the СБ4/C-500 LT100 Is Optimised For
Vehicle Service and MOT Centres
The «gold standard» for medium and large workshops. An outlet capacity of 1100 l/min supports simultaneous operation of:
- Impact wrenches — including heavy-duty and powerful models for seized bolts
- Tyre changers — fast inflation and pneumatic drive of the bead breaker
- Pneumatic jacks — lifting heavy vehicles
- Blow guns and other auxiliary tools
Professional Painting
The high refill rate combined with the 500 l receiver delivers stable pressure without drops:
- HVLP and LVLP spray guns — high air consumption for a quality spray pattern
- Airbrushing and priming — consistent pressure during extended work without pauses
- Simultaneous operation of multiple spray guns in a multi-bay paint shop
Construction and Renovation
- Pneumatic grinders — orbital and belt, sensitive to a constant air flow
- Jackhammers and concrete breakers of small and medium power
- Sandblasting — suitable for localised work (cleaning alloy wheels, removing rust from small parts)
Small-Scale Production
- Furniture manufacturing — powering a line of pneumatic staplers, clamps and drilling machines
- Woodworking — blowing sawdust from equipment, pneumatic drives
- Packaging lines — driving pneumatic cylinders and actuators
Important Technical Points
- 380V supply is mandatory. The unit operates only on three-phase power. Confirm that a 380V connection is available at the site before purchasing.
- Real outlet capacity — 1100 l/min. Sufficient for the simultaneous operation of 2–3 medium consumers or one very powerful one.
- Duty cycle. During extended painting or sandblasting sessions, pauses are recommended to allow the piston group to cool. The LT100 block is not a continuous-duty (24/7) unit; for such regimes consider a screw compressor.
- Installation location. The compressor is heavy; provide a level floor with adequate load-bearing capacity and adequate room ventilation to dissipate heat from the block.
Expert Opinion
“The СБ4/C-500 LT100 is a time-tested choice for professional vehicle service centres and paint shops in Moldova. The LT100 block with cast iron cylinders, given proper maintenance, runs 10–15 years without a major overhaul. The most important thing buyers need to know: this is not a compressor for running «non-stop» — it is a high-output unit with a duty cycle. If you need continuous operation for 8+ hours a day at full load, consider a screw compressor. If the task is peak loading and periodic intensive work, the LT100 at 7.5 kW with a 500 l receiver handles it with a large margin.”

FAQ
❓ Why is 1400 l/min stated but the real capacity is 1100 l/min?
1400 l/min is the inlet capacity (volume of atmospheric air drawn in). 1100 l/min is the real outlet capacity — what actually enters the pneumatic system at 10 bar. The difference represents compression losses. Always use the outlet capacity when calculating your requirements.
❓ How many HVLP spray guns can be connected simultaneously?
A professional HVLP spray gun consumes 300–500 l/min. With 1100 l/min outlet capacity and a 500 l receiver, the compressor comfortably handles 2 spray guns with margin left over for auxiliary operations (blow-down, lift).
❓ Is an air dryer needed with this compressor?
For painting work — yes, it is essential. Piston compressors produce compressed air with high moisture content. Condensate in paint causes fish eyes, craters and delamination. We recommend a refrigerated dryer Omega Air RDT in the 100–140 m³/h range. We will specify the complete package for your application.
❓ Can it be connected to a single-phase 220V supply via a converter?
Not recommended. Frequency converters 220→380V for a 7.5 kW load lose efficiency and create additional stress on the motor. It also voids the manufacturer’s warranty. For sites without 380V, consider single-phase models of lower power or a 380V generator.
