Piston Compressor Remeza AirCast СБ4/C-100 LB30A — Belt Drive, 340 l/min, 10 bar, 100 l, 220V
14.900,00 MDL
Part number: СБ4/C-100 LB30A
Manufacturer: Remeza (Belarus), AirCast series
Type: Piston, oil-lubricated, belt drive
Power supply: 220 V / 2.2 kW
1. Purpose and Operating Principle
The Remeza AirCast СБ4/C-100 LB30A belt-driven piston compressor is designed to compress atmospheric air up to 10 bar and supply it to consumers through a 100-litre receiver.
The core of the unit is the cast-iron two-cylinder single-stage LB30A block. A 2.2 kW electric motor transmits torque via a V-belt. Air is drawn in, compressed in the cylinders and stored in the horizontal receiver. A pressure switch automatically maintains pressure within the set range by starting and stopping the motor.
The model is rated for intermittent duty (duty cycle up to 60 %) and is widely used in auto workshops, paint booths, tyre services, woodworking and small production shops where a single-phase 220 V supply is available.

Design solutions
-
Cast-iron LB30A block — higher heat capacity and wear resistance than aluminium counterparts.
-
Belt drive — lower pump speed, reduced noise and vibration, motor protection under overload.
-
Horizontal 100 l receiver — air reserve for peak loads, fewer start cycles.
-
Pressure switch — automatic pressure control.
-
Motor thermal protection — shut-off on overheating.
-
Wheels and handle — easy movement around the workshop.
4. Installation and Operating Recommendations
-
Place the compressor on a level, solid surface with at least 0.5 m clearance on all sides for ventilation.
-
Ambient temperature: +5…+40 °C.
-
Electrical supply: 220 V, circuit breaker at least 16 A, proper earthing mandatory.
-
Before first start check oil level in the block and tightness of connections.
-
Drain condensate from the receiver daily or after each shift.
-
Do not exceed 60 % duty cycle: continuous running for more than 6 minutes out of 10 triggers thermal protection and accelerates wear.
-
For painting use a moisture separator and, if required, an oil separator on the outlet.
-
Check V-belt tension and condition every 3–6 months.

When replacing imported equivalents (ABBAC, Fiac, Abac, etc. with similar parameters) look for output ≥ 340 l/min, receiver ≥ 100 l and 220 V capability.
6. Common Mistakes
-
Buying a “domestic” compressor for intensive painting or blasting — overheating and failure.
-
Running above 60 % duty cycle without breaks — thermal trips and ring wear.
-
Neglecting condensate drainage — receiver corrosion and moisture in the line.
-
Connecting to a weak circuit (breaker < 16 A) — frequent trips.
-
Painting without a moisture separator — coating defects.
-
Ignoring oil level — cylinder scoring.
7. Applications
-
Auto service and tyre shops (1 bay)
-
Painting individual body panels, priming, clear-coat (LVLP guns)
-
Woodworking and furniture workshops
-
Small production lines (air tools, cylinders)
-
Blow-off, assembly work, light sandblasting
-
Garages and workshops without three-phase 380 V supply
8. Expert Opinion
Vitali Boluchevski, Lead Engineer, Acvatron SRL, 18 years of experience:
“The most common mistake with the LB30A is buying it for 100 % duty-cycle loads: continuous blasting, large-area painting, permanent conveyor. The LB30A block is not designed for that — above 60 % duty the thermal protection trips and after a few months ring wear accelerates. If continuous flow is needed, go for an LB50 or a screw compressor. But for a car service, occasional painting, tyre work and a furniture shop the 220 V LB30A is the optimal choice in its class: spare parts are readily available, more than 20 years on the market, proven reliability.”
9. FAQ
1. Is 340 l/min enough for painting?
Yes, for LVLP guns with consumption up to 250 l/min — with reserve. For full HVLP body painting look at higher-capacity models (LB50 and above).
2. Can it run from a normal 220 V socket?
Yes. A circuit breaker of at least 16 A and proper earthing are required.
3. What duty cycle is allowed?
Intermittent, up to 60 %. Continuous running for more than 6 minutes out of 10 is not recommended.
4. Does it need oil?
Yes, it is an oil-lubricated compressor. Check oil level before every start and change it according to the manufacturer’s schedule.
5. Are spare parts available in Moldova?
Yes. Rings, gaskets, valves, belts and filters for AirCast LB30/LB30A are available through Acvatron SRL and partners.
