OP20M Plug — Quick-Release Fitting G 1/4″ Orion Type
The OP20M plug is a pneumatic nipple (male) of Orion type with BSP G 1/4″ external thread. It is designed for quick connection and disconnection of pneumatic tools, hoses and equipment without tools. Made from brass with an anti-corrosion coating, rated to 20 bar. Compatible with all Orion-series couplers: NC20M, NC30M.

Description and Purpose
Orion type — the most common standard in Moldova
Orion-type (American standard) quick-release fittings are the most widely used in pneumatic systems in workshops, automotive service centres and industrial facilities in Moldova. The OP20M plug is compatible with all Orion-series couplers regardless of manufacturer — only the type and thread size need to match.
Construction: nipple (plug, male)
The OP20M is the fixed part of the coupling, which is screwed into the tool, hose or manifold. When inserted into the NC20M coupler, the coupler’s locking balls automatically engage the groove on the plug — the connection locks without pressing a button. To disconnect, press the coupler sleeve.
Brass with anti-corrosion coating
The body is cast from brass with nickel or chrome anti-corrosion plating. It provides a completely airtight seal at pressures up to 20 bar and is resistant to the humid environment of a compressor station.

Choosing the Correct Size
The OP20M plug has G 1/4″ thread — the most common size for hand-held pneumatic tools. If your tool or hose has G 3/8″ thread, you need the OP30M model. Check the thread size with a calliper or from the tool’s markings before ordering.
